 Hello it's been a while but today I'm going to talk about the best laptops for video editing.

1. MacBook Pro 2017

The MacBook pro is a powerful laptop with 8gb of ram and and a fantastic battery life. Packed in with Mac OsX the MacBook pro 2017 and the touchbar the MacBook pro isn't just great for editing, it is also a fantastic laptop for general use. 

Pros: Very powerful

Improved portability

Touchbar and Mac OsX great for editing

Long usability life

Cons:

Lack of ports needs adapters

EXPENSIVE!!!!

2. Dell XPS  15

The dell xps 15 has similar capabilities to the MacBook pro but comes with 32gb of ram, a full 4k touchscreen plus a solid finish.

Pros: Very powerful 4k touchscreen 32gb of ram

Cons: EXPENSIVE

3. Surface book 2

Microsofts own line of laptops has a great laptop for editing. The surface book 2 has a detachable screen and a stylus. However on problem would be that the i5 13 inch model has intergrated intel hd graphics.

Pros Powerful Detachable screen and stylus.

Cons 13 inch model has intergrated graphics no hdmi
